My 3rd IPL treatment

Once again I have had outstanding results from the e-one IPL system.  I LOVE IT!!!!
As you can see in my pics I am getting very patchy hair growth.  My regrowth is slowing in between shaving which is a blessing because maintenance was a massive problem for me in the start  as I had to maintain my hair growth at least twice a day.   Another plus side to my slowing regrowth is that I have fewer breakouts on my face because the hair isn't irritating my skin as much.  I suggest anyone that suffers with PCOS or not that suffers from excess hair growth should try the e-one system because I am very happy with the results and it also has given me back some self confidence in the way I look.  I'm starting to feel normal again!!!

5 weeks after my first treatment

Over the past 5 weeks since my last treatment I have noticed that the regrowth has slowed down and has started to become patchy. Once again I have not has any irritation. No redness at all this time! I am very pleased with the results so far. I have now gone from shaving the regrowth once to twice a day to only once in the morning.

My first IPL treatment with the E-One

I was so excited by my first treatment so I decided to take pictures before and after the session to see the effect of the E-One on me.

My experience with the E-One system so far reveals that it is very easy to operate, pain free and not messy. The only side effects I have experienced is a minimal red spotting which disappeared within 5 min.

Day 2 - 24 hours after the first treatment (22/09/13)

Regrowth has slowed even though it has only been 24 hours since my first treatment. I still have quick regrowth so I have to shave the area at least every morning.

Dealing with PCOS...

My name is Larissa, I'm 31 year of age and a sufferer of PCOS. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 18 but have been dealing with the symptoms since I was 13. 

PCOS is a disease that affects many factors of my life. Fertility, male pattern hair loss, weight gain, mild acne and excess hair growth are the main problems I have deal with. My first signs of PCOS and later diagnosed as Hirsutism was excess fine dark hair on the sides of my face during adolescents and over the last 10 years it has spread down the face, lip, chin, neck, stomach and chest. 

As a woman having the problem of excess hair affects me mentally, emotionally and socially everyday as I spend the first hour of my waking day maintaining the hair and covering up any sign of the hair I can. My hirsutism affects me on a daily basis as I am constantly worried that people will notice the hair and comment or even snicker about it. 

Over the years my hair removal have evolved from tweezing, hair removal creams, shaving, waxing and even expensive salon laser treatments all of which are either painful of financially draining. I have chosen to use the E-One home hair removal system because not only were my salon treatments expensive, I had to travel an hour to get to my appointments so it made it hard fitting them into my busy life. Also the E-One is cheaper in the long run and you can do it whenever you have the time and the system is yours forever so unexpected sprouts of hair will never be a problem for me again.
